Dreadlock extensions are semi permanent hair extensions that are usually attached to the hair by braiding, then securing with a rubber band.

DE dreadlocks are like a long dreadlock that's folded in the middle.

When you install it, it becomes 2 separate dreadlocks. It's a cool way to add more volume to your hair.

SE dreadlocks are a dreadlock that has a loop at the top. Which makes it possible to pull the hair through and then make a braid to attach it.

Before washing it's best to remove any temporary dread jewellery.

Wash your scalp/hair once a week or every other week with a silicone & sulphate free shampoo.

just remember not to condition your synthetic dreadlocks.

You can condition your left out hair if you have a partial install, but rinse very well.

You can just sleep how you normally do. using a satin night cap is the perfect way to help protect your dreads and minimise frizz.

The first few nights will feel a little different, in the beginning you might feel some tightness, but that will go away after a few nights.

Dreadlock extensions are actually considered a protective style, so they shouldn't damage your hair as long as you take good care of them and follow the washing and maintenance routine.

They can be itchy at first because of the crocheting process, but don't worry they will soften a little overtime and yes, they might feel a little heavier than what you used to, but they're still pretty light overall.

A set will last you years if looked after correctly. They can be worn for around 6 - 8 weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows. 

Yes, I recommend having a 1-2 week break between sets to give your natural hair and scalp a little break.

Using a pair of scissors cut the elastic, then just un braid, Dread by Dread.

Comb out the loose hair from the bottom to the top of the strand.

Don't freak out with the Hair fall out you lose 80 - 100 hairs a day it's completely normal to lose a large amount if you've had them in for a few months.
